A & D Behavioral Solutions was founded after years of working across Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama and witnessing firsthand how difficult it was for individuals and families to access high‑quality behavioral services. Limited providers, long waitlists, and inconsistent support created barriers that left many without the help they needed.

Seeing this gap, we came together with a shared purpose: to build an organization grounded in our core values — compassion, collaboration, dignity, and evidence‑based practice. From that foundation, we developed a service model that offers multiple avenues of support, including professional development, consultation, and intensive outpatient behavioral services.

Executive Director & Owner

DeTerrence Allen, MS, BCBA, is the Executive Director and Owner of A & D Behavioral Solutions LLC, a multi‑state behavioral health organization serving individuals and families across Mississippi, Tennessee, and Alabama. With more than a decade of experience in applied behavior analysis, Mr. Allen leads the development of effective, compassionate, and culturally responsive systems of care across home, school, clinic, and community environments.

In addition to his leadership at A & D, Mr. Allen contributes to university‑based autism and disability initiatives, where he teaches, consults, and supports rehabilitation and professional preparation programs. His academic work strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration, expands applied learning opportunities, and promotes evidence‑based, dignity‑centered practices for emerging professionals entering the behavioral health field.

Mr. Allen’s systems‑oriented leadership emphasizes organizational growth, service consistency, and meaningful outcomes for the individuals and communities served. He has guided interdisciplinary teams, supported practitioner development, and contributed to regional ABA initiatives that advance ethical, person‑centered practice across the Mid‑South.

Owner

Ashley Allen, MS, BCBA, is the Owner of A & D Behavioral Solutions LLC, providing behavioral support services across Mississippi and Tennessee. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, she delivers in‑home, community‑based, and school‑based interventions designed to strengthen skill development, improve daily functioning, and empower families through practical, meaningful strategies.

Mrs. Allen is deeply committed to parent support, guided by her belief that accomplishing large goals begins with small, intentional steps. This philosophy shapes her approach to caregiver training, where she emphasizes training with purpose—ensuring every strategy is clear, achievable, and aligned with the family’s long‑term vision.

A central focus of her leadership is ensuring that families feel supported from the very beginning, including the waitlist period and the initial assessment process. She works to create a welcoming, responsive experience that helps caregivers feel confident, informed, and connected as they enter services.
